Spiritual and Academic Development in the Child
This is the first occasion that child interact with outside world for long hours.Children at this age are inquisitive,observant and follow others behaviour.Apart from home, child's character building commence from the class room.
Teacher should under take both spiritual and academic development in the child.
We note that children coming from lower income group are neglected by parents due to economic whores. Teacher should understand this situation and should pay special attention to this category of children unless otherwise they may unknowingly build up a grudge against other children and the society from the beginning.This is where religion comes to play.By giving love and affection to these neglected children the teacher can rekindle their happy childhood.
Teacher should observe their food, clothing and health and should not be allowed to corner these children by others.
Financial assistance should be given to these families.
